Buffalo Wings

Where I got this recipe, I honestly don't know! I can't remember. It was sometime during my student days in the '90's whilst looking for some nice marinade for chicken wings for a braai, but ever since that day this is the one I make when I have chicken wings and there's a braai going on! 


INGREDIENTS

  • 20 chicken wings
  • 3 TBS tomato paste
  • 2 TBS mustard, prepared or shop bought e.g. Steers Mustard Sauce
  • 5 TBS honey
  • 3 TBS Worcester Sauce
  • few drops Tabasco Sauce, or lemon juice if you prefer it without a bite
  • Salt & freshly ground pepper to taste

Mix together all the ingredients for the sauce, and pour over chicken wings.

Coat well

Marinate for at least 2 hours, either in the fridge, or cover the dish with chicken wings with cling wrap

Baste frequently with remaining sauce during the braai
